Age 12
Norman began sharpening his detailed and creative eye at 12 when he first started cutting hair for family and friends, who immediately recognized his gift. Fueled by a desire to create, draw, and build with his hands, Norman became a barber and built a successful business from the ground up.
1993
Upon recognizing the need to nurture his clientele and provide them with a new level of service, he opened his first Ebony Barbers location in 1993. A second successful location soon followed.
An innovative mainstay in the hair industry for decades, Ebony Barbers continues to draw national talent and acclaim. Over the years, Norman's business acumen led him to manage artists, promote events, and develop several new enterprises. Throughout his pursuits, he always owned a professional camera.
2012
The birth of Norman's daughter and capturing her life ignited a new level of passion for photography. In time, Norman's multiple successes in business allowed him to hone his talent behind the camera.

Norman has developed an eclectic portfolio of client work—from cutting-edge editorials to capturing life's everyday moments that help families preserve essential memories. No matter the type of client, Norman brings a unique, artistic vision and a genuine desire to see them flourish.
